Final Mission:Updated

I posted the story a few weeks ago about an Army Captain who's last act on earth was to save a young Iraqi boy. Today an update comes in via the Washington Post regarding the Iraqi boy's current disposition. If this story doesn't break your heart, you don't have one. [H/T to Mary for the link.]

That's the kind of strategy that will 'win' the war. It's amazing, the amount of 'red tape' it takes for a 'life-saving' mission, while a 'life-taking' mission, like cruise missiles and other air strikes, require only a radio call.
