Another One Bites the Dust

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former Deputy Interior Secretary J. Steven Griles pleaded guilty Friday to obstruction of justice, becoming the ninth person and the highest-ranking Bush administration official convicted in the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal.
Hmmm...another BushCo official under the bus. The Guardian has it.

From the Guardian:

The agreement does not require Griles to help investigators with their grand jury probe.

Well, isn't that a sweet deal for Bush's buddies he might help nail.

-and-

Assistant Attorney General Alice Fisher said the case - the ninth conviction in the Abramoff investigation - shows the Justice Department is willing to go after ``public corruption at all levels of government.''

My ass. I believe that when I see Gail Norton's fanny in jail.

Where are the rest of Abramoff's buddies? The ones that he's supposedly being so cooperative with information about?
