West Pointers Quit at Record Rate

WASHINGTON -- Recent graduates of the US Military Academy at West Point are choosing to leave active duty at the highest rate in more than three decades, a sign to many military specialists that repeated tours in Iraq are prematurely driving out some of the Army's top young officers.
Which part of "senseless war" do the goopers not get? In fact another nail in the coffin proving that this ongoing occupation is not at all about "freedom" or "democracy" but increased war profits for the SOB's who profit and have not sacrificed a thing. Read the Boston Globe story.

Great. The good generals have been drummed out, and now the best and brightest of the up-and-coming are quitting in disgust. That should degrade the officer corps for a decade or two. (Is that not supporting the troops?)
