File Under: FTA*

I have to post this because it must be read. Water Tiger has linked this tidbit that once digested will definitely cause stomach upset.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Army said Friday it would apologize to the families of about 275 officers killed or wounded in action who were mistakenly sent letters urging them to return to active duty.

The letters were sent a few days after Christmas to more than 5,100 Army officers who had recently left the service. Included were letters to about 75 officers killed in action and about 200 wounded in action.

Raw Story has a video report.

Talk about adding insult to injury. Our Administration is not only criminally negligent, they are oustandingly stupid.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Swim.

This is horrifically sad, but to tell you the truth, it doesn't shock me. No one in this administration knows what the hell they are doing.

Reminds me of the dead 9-11 perpetrator getting his visa application approved months after his suicide.
