2nd Trial Set for Objector Watada
The Army has set a second court-martial for July 16 for an officer who refused to deploy to Iraq and spoke out against the war and the Bush administration. Read more.
I hope the double jeopardy argument works, because I don't think there's a chance of an "illegal war" defense working - seems like he would have to deploy and once there, refuse "illegal orders." Takes guts to do either.
